Delete your KoiFi account
This page explains how to permanently delete your KoiFi account and data. No sign-in is required to read these instructions.
This can't be undone. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and all your data from KoiFi, on every device.
1Delete in the app (fastest)
If you have the KoiFi app installed and can sign in:
- Open KoiFi and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- Tap Delete my account.
Your account is deleted immediately — there's no waiting period once you confirm.
2Request deletion without the app
Lost your device, uninstalled the app, or can't sign in? Email us from the address associated with your account and we'll delete it for you:

Include the email address your KoiFi account uses, so we can verify the request. We'll confirm once your account and data have been deleted.
3What gets deleted
- Your profile and sign-in
- Every space you own and all of its data
- Your accounts, transactions, budgets, portfolios and goals
Shared spaces. In spaces you're a member of but don't own, only your accounts and portfolios are removed — the space and its other members stay. If you own a space shared with other people, transfer ownership or delete that space first (in Settings → [Space] → Members) before you can delete your account — this protects the other members' data.
4What's retained, and for how long
Your profile and sign-in are deleted immediately. As described in our Privacy Policy, a small amount of data may be retained after that for a limited time — for example, backup copies on our normal rotation, or records we're legally required to keep for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. We don't use retained data for anything beyond those purposes.
